SHUFFLE members successfully passed exams

Kathy-Ann Heitmeier

Between October 2021 and October 2022, eight members of the SHUFFLE team have written and passed digital accessibility exams set by the International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP). Seven team members gained the Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) credential, which is a foundational certification representing broad knowledge of accessibility, universal design, and related standards and strategies. One team member received the CPWA certification after passing both the CPACC and the technical-level Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS) exams. The exams can be taken in English or in German, with the Kompetenzzentrum für digitale Barrierefreiheit at the Hochschule der Medien as one of the examination centres for German language exams in the D·A·CH region. We look forward to the next group of SHUFFLE members who will write the exams in early 2023.
